Job Description:
We are looking for an Warehouse Associate to join our team.
Under the direction of the reporting Manager, this position is responsible for receiving, checking, and processing inbound shipments.
They will ensure the accurate receiving of inventory items against purchase orders.
They also will assist with general warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the receiving, storing, and labeling of inventory Physically checks product to match vendor part numbers Accurately receives and inputs incoming items into the computer system Responsible for notifying manager of missing items or quantities, or if discrepancies are found including broken items from shipping.
Responsible for resolving any above issues with the shipper Checks and processes returns daily as they come in (1-2 a day) Monitors and verifies that stock transfers are being done accurately Controls inventory levels by conducting cycle counts periodically Monitors and enforces product rotation Assist staff members with all related warehouse/company inquiries Communicates status of work tasks to manager on a daily basis Keeps warehouse area clean and organized Other duties as assigned.
Education and Job Requirements:
High school diploma, equivalent or higher Excellent communication skills Good basic math skills Attention to detail Positive, self-motivated Able to lift 30lbs Ability to stand and sit for prolong periods Ability to walk through production areas Preferred Requirements:
Warehouse Experience Automotive parts and/or industry knowledge a plus Bi-lingual in English / Spanish a plus Job Type:
